Big Dave has been a bassist and vocalist for the popular rockin blues band Rick Magee and the Roadhouse Rockers for almost two decades. His no nonsense, full force bass playing style makes him one of the premier regional bassists for rock, country-rock and blues. Dave also has a strong, dynamic and soulful voice which is suited perfectly for lead and harmony vocals. Dave's bass style is reminiscent of some of the greatest power trios ever.
Scott has been on the local music scene since he was 17 years old and a senior in high school. He first started out playing with his Dad, Bob Silvis, Uncle, Perry Nichols, and Cousin, Paul Nichols. As the time passed, the band changed many times and so did his style. Now, he is invovled in a few projects and still plays with his Dad in the Smoke n' Thunder band. Scott tends to favor rockin country/blues and is well suited for lead and harmony vocals also. After 20 years of playing guitar he has developed himself into an "easy going" professional musician. A rockin bluesman to the core, he's also been known to shred it up a time or two when the time is right. Scott says, "Playing blues licks and two-hand tapping in the same night makes me a little different than the rest".
